Samsung LN52A650 52-Inch LCD HDTV is spreading like wildfire! | is landing in homes everywhere. }
Filed under: GuideI can’t tell you enough how outstanding this Samsung LN52A650 LCD TV performs. From the black levels to the phenomenal color. Very vibrant display! Great picture and sound. Nice little extras like a swivel base and a remote with large buttons. Easy to plug-in up home stereo system components. the red touch of color border has been commented on by friends as a unique great idea. Great value for the price.
I have a PS3, Wii, and HD DirecTV connected. Both games and Bluray look sweet in all their 1080P glory (HDMI). The Wii looks great as well even with component connectivity. The Samsung LN52A650 52-Inch LCD HDTV really does what it is intended to do, not just a phony feature to sell the unit. One thing I will stress is the importance of turning this feature OFF when watching movies and television shows. If left on, it’s like watching the making of the show through a window rather than giving that cinematic look. Hard to explain until you see it for yourself.
If watching sports or anything meant to be viewed in a realistic setting, turn the 120Hz ON. I found the factory settings seem to be the best. Again, the only setting I feel needs to be changed is the 120Hz, depending on what you are watching.
The picture on this television is really awesome! It’s actually kind of freaky watching hi-def compared to the DLP we used to have. The colors on Samsung 52 Inch LCD are very crisp, the ambient light glare is minimal, even the non hi-def is really clear. The touch of color is hardly noticeable but I personally find it attractive.
