The early warning symptom of pregnancy will be different with different women but an unusual period or one missed altogether is something every woman recognizes. For some women, the symptoms of pregnancy begin as early as the same week of being impregnated. Then again, in other women, the symptoms may not emerge for weeks if ever. Always contact your doctor when having any signs of pregnancy or early symptoms of pregnancy.
In about 6 to 12 days the embryo implants itself into the uterine wall. Some women will have some spotting and a little cramping when this happens. A test for pregnancy is necessary for the women who experiences an unusual period or one that is missed. The next period should be missed after a women has been impregnated. If the woman continues to have a period during the pregnancy, it will be very different than she normally has as it will be much lighter and not for very long.
The breasts of the women who has just become pregnant will tend to be very tender to the touch and enlarged. The areolas may get darker in some women. The early symptom of fatigue sets in within the first week. You should always contact your doctor when having any first trimester pregnancy.
Most women will have nausea in the early stages of pregnancy and will even experience it for the rest of the time they are pregnant. A few women will not experience morning sickness but most will have to deal with this symptom anywhere between 2 and 8 weeks. Another common sign of early pregnancy is lower back pain and this may be a condition that persists as a muted pain. The hormones will be changing in the early stages that may cause head ache pain.
Within the first six weeks of becoming pregnant, frequent urination is a common symptom. An unusual longing for certain foods is a sign of pregnancy. Even though most of the unusual longings that are experienced through the length of the time the women is pregnant, it may not be as strange as pickles with ice cream. To ensure the safety of yourself and possibly that of your baby it is best to use a home pregnancy test and then follow it up with a visit to your health care professional.
